Rockstar has confirmed six GTA 6 radio stations so far, hosted by artists including Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey, Morgan Wallen, Robyn and Slayer’s Kerry King and Tom Araya. For the first time you can listen on foot through Jason and Lucia’s phones, and the game adds on-demand podcasts. Two soundtrack albums are also coming: Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on November 19 and Justice’s original score on December 11.

What’s new about radio in GTA 6
- Listen anywhere. Official Radio and podcasts work on foot through headphones or earbuds connected to your character’s phone, not just in cars (VGC, The Verge).
- Podcasts. Official On-demand podcasts are a series first. Talk radio stations still run live, but podcasts are picked when you want them.
- More stations to come. Official Rockstar calls this “the biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio and podcasts yet”, with stations “from Classic Rock to Talk Radio”. Neither genre is among the six revealed, so expect more.
- A returning name. Flash FM, described by Rockstar as “the Vice City institution”, was also a station in GTA: Vice City (2002) and Vice City Stories.

- Play the released singles from The Album and the Justice score on the same page or on streaming services, and pre-save the albums there.

Listening on foot sounds like a small change but matters more than it looks: GTA has always been at its best on the radio, and you spent a lot of time walking in it with no music.
