GTA 6 costs $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition in the United States, and there are no store-exclusive pre-order bonuses. The pre-order bonus is the same everywhere, so the real choices are digital or physical, which store, and your region. What every pre-order includes
- Vintage Vice City Pack: included with all pre-orders and purchases before November 20, 2026, per Take-Two’s announcement.
- One month of GTA+: for digital pre-orders. On PlayStation it must be claimed by March 31, 2027. The Ultimate Edition Upgrade bought on its own doesn’t qualify.
- No retailer exclusives: The Verge reported no store-exclusive bonuses.

Not verified We could not read prices on Amazon, Walmart or Best Buy product pages, so we are not quoting any. GamesRadar (updated August 24) says Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, PlayStation and Xbox all had U.S. pre-orders live, and that Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart advertise November 12 delivery. UK and euro prices
On the PlayStation Store we read £69.99 Standard and £89.99 Ultimate in the UK, and €79.99 and €99.99 in Spain, Germany and France (see GTA 6 price). GamesRadar lists Amazon, John Lewis, Very, Currys, Argos, ShopTo, The Game Collection and Smyths as live UK retailers; we haven’t verified their prices.
Digital or physical?
- Digital: the only way to get the Ultimate Edition. The free GTA+ month is for digital pre-orders. Preloading starts on November 12.
- Physical: the box contains a download code and no disc, so the main reasons to choose it are gifting and buying from a retailer you prefer. The Verge reports codes are sold at Rockstar and major retailers.
Buying tips that cost nothing
- Buy in your own region. GamesRadar notes that PlayStation pre-order codes are locked to the region where you buy them; Xbox codes are not. Rockstar Support says the same about matching your account region.
- Don’t pay extra for “bonus” listings. No retailer has an exclusive bonus. The offer is the same everywhere.
- Check the cutoff. Buy before November 20, 2026 to get the Vintage Vice City Pack.
- Know the storage. A reported 210 GB PS5 download isn’t official; see the file size guide.
Frequently asked questions
Where is the cheapest place to pre-order GTA 6?
For the Standard Edition, the three official stores we checked all list $79.99 in the U.S. We couldn’t verify lower prices at other retailers.
Is there a physical GTA 6 disc?
No. Physical copies are a box with a download code.
Can I still get the Vice City Pack if I buy on launch day?
Yes, any purchase before November 20, 2026.
