Why choose digital
- You get one free month of GTA+ with a digital purchase (on PlayStation by November 19); it must be claimed by March 31, 2027 and auto-renews until cancelled.
- No stock problems, and nothing to wait for on the 12th.

Why choose the boxed code
- Some retailers charge less. In the UK, Amazon UK and Smyths listed £64.99 against £69.99 on the stores in mid-October (GamingBible).
- You get a physical box with the release date on the shelf.
- Gift-friendly: you can hand someone a box.
The catches with a boxed code
- The code is redeemed once, so there is nothing left to resell afterwards.
- Buy the right platform: retailers list PS5 and Xbox codes as separate products.
- Amazon says boxed deliveries start on November 12 (GamingBible), so a delay pushes back your preload. Digital preloads on the 12th regardless.
- Skip codes from marketplace sellers you do not know; buy from established retailers.
