That makes it about twice as long as last year’s sale. This year there are no console discounts in Sony’s announcement.

Is there a PS5 or PS Plus discount?
PS5 consoles: Sony’s announcement only covers games, expansions and DLC. Polygon notes that last year’s event came with console discounts and a new bundle, while this one mentions no hardware. Retailers can still discount consoles themselves. Our Black Friday deals tracker will add console deals as they appear.
PS Plus: The PlayStation deals page says PS Plus offers are coming soon. In 2025 Sony took up to 33% off 12-month memberships for Black Friday. Until Sony confirms a 2026 offer, don’t renew early expecting the same discount.
Buy now or wait for the November 16 refresh?
Our advice Not official guidance:
- Check the end date on each listing. Sony says some discounts end on November 20, so a deal you see today may not survive the refresh.
- Wishlist the rest. The refresh adds new discounts on November 16. Games that aren’t on sale yet may join then.
- Keep space and budget for GTA 6. GTA 6 isn’t discounted and needs 212 GB. Preloading opens on November 10, so clear space before you download a stack of sale games. See GTA 6 download time and size.
- Compare with Xbox later in the month. Microsoft’s Black Friday sale runs from November 19 to 28.
